WHAT SKIN TYPES ARE SOLYPH SUITABLE FOR? 

SOLYPH is suitable for all skin types!

All products are made from natural active ingredients that are gentle and effective for all skin types including sensitive and acne-prone skin.

We are partnered with a trusted CGMP and COSMOS certified manufacturer in South Korea, where the efficacy of clean clinical skincare and the superiority of natural ingredients are combined. Our method of Clean Nature Science leverages both advanced technology and traditional techniques to source, research, and formulate all-natural formulas that are clinically effective and mindfully made.

ARE PRODUCTS NON-COMEDOGENIC? 

Yes, use SOLYPH with ease as all products are non-comedogenic!

Our line up is crafted from all natural ingredients and have undergone strict clinical testing to ensure that they don’t cause clogged pores, irritations or breakouts.

ARE PRODUCTS SAFE TO USE DURING PREGNANCY?

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR DRY SKIN? 

It's all about hydration when it comes to relieving dry skin and here's where our Time out refresh essence, Level up higher serum, and Ready set glow moisturizer come to the rescue. Layer up this trio, starting with a few spritz of our essence mist, followed by a pump of serum and finally a generous layer or moisturizer at night time to wake up to supple skin.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR EXTRA DRY SKIN? 

Combat extra dry skin by doubling up on both water-based and oil-based moisturising products everyday. Start with our Take off smooth cleanser, that gently removes dirt, make up and impurities without stripping the skin. Incorporate our water-based essence into your routine with the '7 Skin method', followed by our serum, before finishing off with our moisturizer for balanced hydration.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR OILY SKIN? 

Manage oily skin by finding the right balance with hydration, opting for water based products over oil based product.
Try our essence mist, serum and sheet masks, effective yet lightweight formulas that control sebum and oil production while keeping your skin hydrated and refreshed.
Also avoid over cleansing, by using a gentle cleanser like our Take off smooth cleanser that removes excess oil and sebum without stripping your skin of its natural lipid barrier.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR COMBINATION SKIN? 

Treat combination skin right by using water-based products such as our Time out refresh, essence and Level up higher serum to control sebum production. For added hydration, use oil-based moisturizers such as Ready set glow at night time as an overnight mask.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR ACNE-PRONE SKIN? 

An important tip for improving acne-prone skin is to nourish the skin without further clogging pores. Rest assured, all SOLYPH formulas are non-comedogenic, and only consist of skin friendly ingredients, including oil-based ingredients that do not clog pores and are suitable even for acne-prone skin.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR TEENAGE SKIN? 

Hormonal changes can cause irritated and temperamental skin. Take control with our Level up higher serum and Time out refresh essence that work to soothe and repair the skin.

Feel a slight tingling? That’s the antioxidants and antimicrobials working hard to prevent the spread of bacteria and to heal inflamed skin.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE RECOMMENDED MATURE SKIN? 

The skin starts showing signs of aging through wrinkles and fine lines, commonly around the eyes and jaw line. To combat these effects, we recommend the art of layering skincare - try practicing the 7 Skin Method with our Time our refresh essence, before applying our Level up higher serum and Ready set glow moisturizer.

In the day time, ensure to cap off your skincare routine with adequate sun protection like our Face the wild suncream. Lastly, use our Keep calm meditate sheet masks 2-3 times a week to boost skin regeneration for more plump and lifted skin.

WHY IS THERE A TINGLING SENSATION WHEN USING SOLYPH PRODUCTS? 

Our base water, extracted from organic Pine Leaves, is high in antimicrobial properties that may cause a slight tingling sensation that will go away after a short while.

If the tingling sensation persists and/or redness is observed, do consult your dermatologist.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN PRODUCTS? 

When it comes to testing new skincare, your skin may experience an adaptation reaction or allergic reaction. If you are new to using natural skincare, you may experience an adaptation reaction due to the potency of the ingredients, typically a slight tingling sensation that will disappear as your skin adjusts to the product. Allergic reactions on the other hand are more intense and will persist.

You may use a simple test to find out if you are allergic to a product:

1. Saturate a cotton pad with the product and put it under your ampit (area of sensitive skin) for 10 - 20 minutes.

2. If you feel any strong irritation or reaction such as redness, burning, or itch, remove immediately and wash area with soap and water.

3. You can repeat this test to see if the reaction keeps coming or going away.

4. If irritation persists, you may be allergic to the product and are recommended to consult your doctor before use.

5. If there is no reaction, you can safely use the product.

DO PRODUCTS CONTAIN PRESERVATIVES?
We use a skin-safe natural preservative, EURO NA-pre that stabilizes our formulas without the addition of artificial preservatives, as well as, 1,2-hexanediol, a skin friendly ingredient that is also an antimicrobial and moisturizing agent.

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLES?
Selected samples for our Essential collection are available online as a gift upon purchase, or at our retail counter in Singapore upon request.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS NON-COMEDOGENIC?
We can safely say that, yes we are non-comedogenic!

Our ingredients and products are derived naturally, all from nature, and have undergone strict clinical testing to ensure that the products don’t cause any clogged pores, irritations or breakouts.


ARE PRODUCT PACKAGING ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?

We try our best! All paper products and delivery boxes are non-coated and recyclable. While all plastic packaging are recyclable, subject to each country's recycling policies. Trust that we are always on the look out for more sustainable options, and will be integrate them as soon as possible!

ARE PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS?

DO PRODUCTS CONTAIN ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCES?

We are happy to report that SOLYPH products are naturally scented and free of synthetic fragrances. That subtle botanical aroma? That's the signature scent of our hero ingredient - pine leaf extract, blended with skin friendly organic essential oils to amplify that refreshing pine leaf scent.

ARE PRODUCTS VEGAN AND GLUTEN-FREE?

All products are vegan and gluten-free with the exception of our Ready set glow moisturizer, which contains Beeswax as a natural emulsifier. Trust that we are always looking out for options to go completely vegan and gluten-free!

WHEN DO PRODUCTS EXPIRE?

Peek on the back and bottom of our product to find their 'Period After Opening' recommendation and expiry dates! We find that products are best used within 12 months from opening and 3 years from date of manufacture.


DO PRODUCTS CONTAIN NANOPARTICLES?

While the fine texture of nanoparticles are common in physical sunscreen formulas, allowing it to glide over the skin, it could also lead to unwanted side effects. Hence, our Face the wild suncream is formulated with the most innovative technology to create particles between nano and non-nano, and a sunscream that is effective and sits comfortably on the skin.
